My interest in biotechnology began with a central question: why do humans age, and what can science do to slow, prevent, or reverse age-related decline? Over time, that question became deeply personal. My twin sister was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and seeing that struggle up close showed me the immense importance of health, science, and medical progress in preserving the lives of the people we love.
